Jon Hamblen
Coach of Wake Forest University Cycling. Track Operator at Tanglewood BMX. Coach and Studio owner at Velocious Sport LLC. Former Pro Road/CX/MTB racer, formerly raced with Richard Sachs Cyclocross, as a climber for Navigators Pro Cycling and a criterium rider SmartStop Pro Cycling. Two time NCGP Cyclocross UCI race winner. Multi time Elite National Championship medalist. Husband and father of four kids.

Kerry Werner
Pro CX/MTB rider with Kona and part time Pro Road racer with Rally Pro Cycling. 3rd at Cyclocross Nationals earlier this year, 5th last year. UCI wins and podiums galore. Multiple time Collegiate National Champion in Cyclocross and MTB’ing. Multiple time National Championship medalist finisher in u23, collegiate, and Pro MTB’ing. Emily Shields
Graduate studies in Nutrition at UNCG. Pro Cyclocross racer with Hearts Racing p/b Crumley Roberts and Ken’s Bike Shop. Two time, and current, Collegiate National Cyclocross Champion. Current Collegiate National STXC MTB Champion. Many times over a medalist at Road, MTB, and Cyclocross National Championships.

Nathaniel Ward
Sole (and soul) coach and proprietor of Inner Athlete Cycle Coaching, is a long time category 1 road and cyclocross racer and a USAC licensed category 3 cycling coach. An accomplished road and ‘cross racer himself, Ward also has the experience of coaching top level cyclists including national champions, and even other coaches. His strengths as a coach, in addition to cycling-specific knowledge, are his communication skills and background as a music and English teacher, and a mental health counselor. Talking to people about what makes them tick, and putting that information to use in a goal setting context is the core of Ward’s approach to training bike racers.
